Knightly menu of the castle Vildštejn in Skalná
• Roasters, gold-roasted and sprinkled with bock beer,
served with white pudding, black sausages, brawn
and fresh vegetable side dish.
• Mini chickens, gold-roasted, sprinkled with fresh
orange juice and honey.
• Mini pigeons, stuffed with mushroom stuffing,
gold-roasted with honey.
• Quails, stuffed with bacon stuffing, gold-roasted with honey.
• Geese, stuffed with apple stuffing, gold-roasted.
• Pheasants, stuffed, gold-roasted, sprinkled with cranberry juice.
• Pork skewers, sandwiched with bacon, onion and cucumber.
• Pork knuckles, pickled in herb sauce and gold-roasted with garlic paste.
• Whole fish, roasted in herb batter, cut in horseshoe shape.
• Fish fillets, tripple-coated (flour-egg-breadcrumbs) and gold-roasted.
• Pork chops, gold-roasted in piquant sauce.
• Cheese plates with six kinds of cheese and fresh vegetables.
• Savouries, small snacks.
• Vegetable salads, mixed with Balkan cheese, tomato and cucumber.
• Fruit plates with various kinds of fruits.
• Mini tarts – sweet, different kinds of popular and varied patissere.
• Dumplings – bread and potato dumplings.
• Cabbage – white and red, chopped and seasoned according to the recipe of our cooky.
• Peppers, pickled and piquant.
• Sausages with onion, pickled and piquant.
Boiled corn cob.
Boiled egg whites stuffed with yolk cream.
Bread, mustard, fresh horse-radish and pickled gherkins.
And lots of other small things to please your appetite.
Everything is served through Swedish tables with a server, following the phrase: to everyone at pleasure to bellyful.
The price per banqueter is 750,- Kč. The minimum number of banqueters is 30.
It is possible to order extra historical show (about 2 and half hours long) or music which can follow the knightly feasts.
